Following recent announcements from the Scottish Government and Scottish Golf, we are pleased to share the following new changes to the COVID-19 guidance.
From Friday 12 March:
As our house convenor Stuart is our COVID officer, we are now able to transition to 3 & 4-balls. While we transition to a new tee sheet to accommodate this, we understand that some of you will wish to increase your group sizes that are already booked.
If you wish to amend your bookings to make them into a 3-ball or 4-ball, please email Kevin Blyth at email@example.com with your current booking details and what you wish to change it to. Please ensure to include the names of anyone you wish to add to your group.
It is important that you delete any bookings that you no longer require, this will allow more members to make use of available tee times.
This also now means that we will be able to enjoy the first event of the season, the Captain V Vice-Captain. Further details about this event will be made available in Friday’s Newsletter.
We thank you for continuing to adhere to the ever-changing guidelines but this is a great step forward to a return to normality.
As we get ready for the new golf season, we are pleased to announce the return of the Personalised Car Park Space Raffle. This is your opportunity to win your very own personalised car park space down at Kirkcaldy Golf Club. The lucky winner can take their pick from any space within the car park and will have exclusive use of the space until 31 March 2022.
Entries for the raffle will cost £5.00 per entry and you can submit as many entries as you wish. As current restrictions don’t allow us access to the Clubhouse, we want to make entering as easy as possible so we have set up a link below to capture entries.
Funds will deducted from your VMS account within 2 – 3 days of submitting your entry, so please ensure your account has the relevant funds to cover your entries.
Entries will be open until the 9 April 2021 with the big draw being made on 10 April 2021.
We hope you take this opportunity to support your golf club and wish you all luck on winning this unique prize.
The Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 26 February at 7pm via Zoom Webinar.
Further information and AGM papers can be found in the club’s most recent email communication or in the Member’s Facebook group.
